a little about me
My name is Felisha, I am a Colorado native, DONA-trained birth Doula, and Registered Nurse. I discovered my passion for birth work and female empowerment while working as an RN on a very busy Labor and Delivery unit. My background includes over 10 years of experience caring for and providing labor support to 1000s of women and babies.I believe in a holistic approach to childbirth that focuses on both mother and baby's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I am a caring, skilled, experienced, and passionate birth worker, who has worked with families from all walks of life and cultures. I have cared for and supported women through various methods of giving birth from unmedicated water birth to planned c-sections.
My goal is to help you to achieve an empowered, healthy, happy, and positive birth experience. through childbirth education, labor support, and advocacy.
I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for as you bring your baby into the world. I will be there for you as you labor providing continuous emotional and physical support in the setting you choose whether that be a hospital, birth center, or at home with a midwife.

Before your delivery, we will get together and get to know each other, talk about your preferences, options, and vision for your birth.
During your delivery, I will be with you and give
you the personal one-on-one labor support you deserve. I can assist you with immediate postpartum care for yourself and your baby
Once you are home I will meet with you and your family to check in, talk about your birth experience, and provide resources
I Offer
- Resources and education surrounding pregnancy and childbirth
- Assistance with birth planning, implementation, and advocacy of your birth plan
- Knowledge of common medical interventions used to induce and augment labor, knowledge of medications and modalities used to manage pain, knowledge of newborn care at the time of birth and transition period
- Continuous labor support and encouragement, assistance with labor and birth positioning to promote optimal fetal position and reduce pain
- Relaxation techniques and strategies to decrease anxiety and promote rest as needed
- Partner education, teaching your partner ways to participate and support you during labor and birth
- Golden hour and feeding support
